Mojo Desert is the third season of Alliance. It was originally hosted under the title of Survivor: Mojo Desert, but was later officially given the retroactive title of Alliance: Mojo Desert as part of the official rebranding. The season was played from April 23 through May 31, 2020. Hosted by Jeff Probst (AKA Ryan Plexsty), it consisted of 39 days of gameplay with 16 competitors.
The 16 contestants were initially separated into two tribes, Atacama and Gobi. When 15 players remained, the contestants held a tribal swap, becoming three tribes. The third tribe was named Sahara. When 12 players remained, the contestants held another swap. When 10 players remained, the three tribes merged into one, named Mojave. After 39 days of competition, Carrstaway was named the Sole Survivor, defeating FMLCat and Muse in a 6-1-0 jury vote. |
Contestants
There were 16 contestants, divided into two tribes, Atacama and Gobi. After one contestant was eliminated, a tribal swap was held, and the two tribes were split into three, with the third tribe named Sahara. After three more contestants were eliminated, the tribes were swapped again. After three more contestants were eliminated, the three merged to form one tribe, Mojave. The final seven eliminated contestants made up the jury that decided who would win the game.
